Little Five Points is one of my favorite parts of Atlanta! I love all the creative stores (and creative people) however I never go to Little Five to eat. Instead, I only visit the festive neighborhood when i'm looking for some new additions to my closet. Things may change now that OMG TACO has opened its doors. This funky LA food truck inspired restaurant is a great addition to the culinary appeal of Little Five. With colorful graffiti painted on the walls this new restaurants serves up flavorful combination of Tacos, Burritos and Quesadillas! What sets OMG TACO apart from other taco restaurants in the city is that its menu sparkles with traditional Korean ingredients like Kimchee, Sweet Korean Chili paste and Marinated Short Rib. During my visit I was able to try the Short Rib Taco ($2.50) which was a serving of OMG's special soy sauce marinated short rib on a fresh corn tortilla with Monterey jack and mild cheese. Next I tried the Kimchee Quesadilla ($5.00) which was a large chicken quesadilla on a flour tortilla with melted monterrey jack and cheddar cheese with caramelized kimchee and topped with roasted sesame seeds and the OMG sauce. If you are not familiar with Kimchee it is a traditional korean vegetable dish (almost like a cole-slaw). In addition to my Quesadilla and Taco I also sampled the OMG Fries ($3) and the OMFG Super Fries ($5). Both dishes are crispy fries topped with the OMG slaw, sauce, Monterey jack and cheddar cheese along with any meat choice. They kind of reminded me of the loaded fries at In & Out Burger in Cali. The OMFG Super Fries are "super" because they come with caramelized kimchee. In addition to the tasty menu OMG Taco also has a full bar where you can order a refreshing cocktail after a long day of shopping! The owner of OMG Taco mentioned to me that he frequently showcases different local artist and their artwork in the restaurant. So if you are an up and coming artist looking to show off your work head over to OMG Taco!
