Ok I know over here @Exclusive_Eats we can be a little bougie at times and it seems all we care about is a restaurant's ambiance and fabulosity - but sometimes a girl just wants a good quality BURGER- and I'm not talking McDonalds! If you are like me and can appreciate 100%  fresh ground certified angus beef that is cooked to order then you HANDS DOWN need to check out Grindhouse Killer Burgers. With two convenient locations (1842 Piedmont Ave + Sweet Auburn Curb Market) Grindhouse Killer Burgers offers you an amazing variety of stellar burgers topped with some of your favorite ingredients. Last week I was in search of a chill casual place my guy friend and I could grab lunch. I wanted a place with great patio seating since it was hot as hades outside and a place that had a great menu with an even greater selection of beer. Grindhouse Killer Burgers proved to be the perfect selection. Atlanta's newest burger restaurant offers a spacious outdoor dining area that faces bustling Piedmont Ave as well as Draft Beers by the pint and pitcher and Bottled and Canned Beer. If you're looking to have an extra good time check out the fabulous boozy milkshakes ($8.50). My friend and I grabbed a table outside and proceeded to review the menu. Now what burger place do you know of that has a creative list of appetizers on their menu? I can't think of one! But lucky for me Grindhouse offers 4 different appetizers on their menu. We decided to sample the Fried Green Tomatoes ($5.50) topped with carolina cole slaw and pimento cheese. They were scrumptious and a great addition to our meals. At Grindhouse you have the choose of creating your own beef, turkey, or veggie burger all starting at ($3.99) for a single 1/4 lb patty. You can then top your burger with your choice of 6 different cheeses, 5 different veggies, and 7 different sauces. Don't forget to add 1 of the 10 specialty toppings like sautéed mushrooms, grindhouse beef chili, thick cut bacon, or fresh avocado. If you are not in the mood for a burger Grindhouse's versatile menu also offers Hot Dogs, Salads, and Chili. My guest and I decided to be adventurous and try one of Grindhouse's specialty burgers. I had the single Cowboy Style burger ($6.50) which was topped with thick cut bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy vidalia onion ring and bbq sauce. My guest tried the Apache Style burger ($6.25) which was topped with pepper jack cheese, grilled onions, and roasted new mexico green chiles. Yum!! To accompany our burgers we ordered a side of the hand sliced, lightly battered Vidalia Onion Rings ($2.50). After all that food I felt too guilty ordering a hand spun milkshake but the next time I return I defiantly want to try out a Grindhouse Chiller! Like I said , if you are looking for a great place to kick back and enjoy a spectacular burger I highly suggest Grindhouse Burgers, the food is tasty and the environment is trendy. Don't miss out on this Atlanta gem!

Until Next Time....Eat Your ♥ Out!

  1. Is your "F Stop" set correctly on your camera, or are the onion rings REALLY cooked that brown? If so, they're overdone.
