If you are looking for a cute and fun place to grab BBQ in the city you need to check out Moe's Original BBQ. Located right on 14th ST, this festive new restaurant is perfect and super convenient for college students in the AUC and GA Tech! I stopped by for lunch with two friends and was happy to see that the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was enhanced with great music. There are no servers at Moe's Original BBQ, you simply order at the counter and take a seat until your food is delivered to you. The kitchen manager was really personable and great with suggesting menu items we should try. I stuck with my regular BBQ selection and tried the Pulled Pork Platter ($10) served with my choice of two sides and a drink. I enjoyed Baked Beans + Macaroni & Cheese for my sides. One of my guest ordered the Smoked Chicken Sandwich  ($9) with Baked Beans + Potato Salad while my other guest dined on the small Ribs Platter ($11.25) with Collard Greens + Macaroni & Cheese. Each entree comes with a complementary side of jalapeno corn bread, which was scrumptious! In addition there are special menu items offered on a daily basis. The day I came to visit Smoked Tofu Sandwiches, Watermelon Salad, Broccoli Casserole, Collard Greens, Lima Beans, Sweet Potato Casserole, Fried Okra, Skillet Corn, Fried Green Tomatoes and Chocolate Oreo Pie were all offered as special items. The kitchen manager at Moe's BBQ informed me that on the weekends the restaurant has a live DJ and plays music for all of its patrons. This totally fits the vibe of Moe's Original BBQ seeing as they have a full service bar full of your favorite drinks and beers. In addition there are TV's decorating the dining room providing for a subtle sports bar environment. This restaurant is really casual but at the same time captivating. The next time i’m looking for a quick bite to eat I will definitely stop by Moe's Original BBQ!
