Over the holiday one of my closet girlfriends was searching for the perfect restaurant to celebrate her 24th Birthday. She had just a few requirements : The restaurant had to be FABULOUS, it's interior design needed to be CHIC and FESTIVE, the cocktail menu had to be ELABORATE, the food needed to be CREATIVE yet SCRUMPTIOUS, the dining room had to have seating for a party of 10 and she wanted it to be inside the perimeter. Clearly you can see from these request that my friend is the quite the DIVA! She came to me for a suggestion and I told her about a brand new restaurant I heard about called Truffles Cafe. Located in the same space as the old Ruby Tuesday Lenox this month old restaurant is the 4th addition to the Truffles Cafe chain. I know, chain restaurant are so NOT my style but Truffles Cafe - Atlanta is the first location in GA so I gave it a pass. My friend and I glanced at the menu and were happy to see the wide selection of dishes. Menu items include fresh fish, center cut steaks, pastas, and specialties items like Havana Chicken served with jack cheese, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, BBQ black beans and fresh vegetables ($14). We were confident that Truffles Cafe would have a dish that everyone in our party would like. When I called to make the reservation I was immediately impressed by the host. He was helpful and extremely polite. When we arrived later that night the amazing customer service continued. I don't know which was better the complimentary valet or the host who opened the restaurant doors for us when we arrived! This establishment has truly mastered the concept of customer service and it made our dining experience even better. The interior design of Truffles Cafe initially caught my attention and I was impressed at how versatile the atmosphere was. Half of the restaurant was designed as a chic upscale sports bar with high top tables, flat screen TV's and a lovely bar space. The other half of the restaurant was candle lit and serene, providing the perfect environment for a romantic date. My friends and I started our celebration with a few cocktails which were all $9. I choose the Superfruit Cooler which was Absolut berri acai, veev acai, St. Germain elderflower, and fresh cucumber! It was super tasty :-) My friends sipped on the Pear & Elderflower Martini (Absolut pear, St. Germain elderflower, honey, and lemon juice) Pomtini (pomegranate juice, Absolut citron, and grapefruit juice) and two Ciroc Grape Martini (ciroc vodka, white grape juice, and fresh grapes). After satisfying our  drink desires we moved on to our appetizers and ordered the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes with wasabi mayonnaise $12. I am a seafood addict and when I tell you these were some of the best crab cakes I have ever had - I am not lying! Full of whole lump crab meat and lightly fried to perfection! I would highly suggest this dish as an appetizer or entree! Now for all my penny pinchers out there who skip out on appetizers to lower their overall bill (I’m not judging!) you will love Truffles Cafe because they serve some of the best complimentary bread ever! My group raved about the unlimited baskets of warm bread served with a light creamy garlic cheese spread instead of butter. After much consideration we were ready to order our entrees. I had the half rack of Baby Back Ribs ($14) served with an award winning tangy BBQ sauce, steak fries, and fresh coleslaw. My guest sampled the Fried Shrimp $16 (lightly breaded, and served with homemade tartar sauce, steak fries and coleslaw) Crab Cakes $22 (jumbo lump, wasabi mayonnaise, garlic mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables), Cajun Chicken Sandwich $9 (8 ounce double chicken breast topped with lettuce, tomato, red onion, honey mustard sauce and served with your choice of shoestring fries, steak fries, sweet potato fries, herbed potatoes or fresh coleslaw), New Orleans Shrimp Pasta $17 (mini penne, tasso ham, sweet bell peppers, spicy cream sauce, and parmesan cheese), and Chicken Alfredo $14 (mini penne, boneless chicken breast, fresh spinach, bacon, oven roasted tomatoes, and creamy alfredo sauce). Now if that wasn't enough we had to end our celebration with three of Truffles Cafe's famous desserts that were each priced at $6. As a group we sampled the Blondie (Blondie brownie with butterscotch and chocolate chips, served warm with vanilla bean ice cream, homemade caramel sauce and chocolate drizzle) Key Lime Pie and my ultimate favorite the Oreo Ice Cream Pie (Oreo cookie crust, Oreo ice cream, chocolate fudge, crumbled Oreo cookies and topped with whipped cream)...SO GOOD! Honestly out of all the restaurants I've been to Truffles Cafe has hands down the BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve experienced. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would highly suggest it to anyone celebrating a birthday! Truffles Cafe is also the perfect place for a romantic first date or a evening out with the kids. I will definitely be coming back here soon!

(Happy Birthday @BritanyArial)
